Ilze Latkovska (1982), the soprano, graduated the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music in 2009 (Lilija Greidāne class). For a year Ilze mastered her skills in vocal singing in Vilnius with one of the greatest Lithuanian singers Irena Milkevičiūtė. In addition, Ilze has taken part in opera studio “Figaro” projects. Her role of Sūrmis in “Lolitas brīnumputns” (The Firebird of Lolita) – an opera by Jānis Kalniņš is particularly worth mentioning. At present, Ilze is a solo singing teacher at the Riga Dom Cathedral Choir School and the vocal pedagogue of mixed choirs “Sōla” and “Sēja”.
